Palestine’s youth Muay Thai team won seven medals, including two gold medals, at the Arab Youth Muay Thai Championship in Benghazi, Libya. About 300 athletes from Arab countries took part.

Syria’s under-17 girls’ football team earned a 1–0 opening victory over Saudi Arabia at the West Asian championship in Zarqa, Jordan. Masa Minya scored the match’s only goal in the second half.
